Tickets for Boots, Bling, and Blessings Fundraiser on Sale Now!

Mark your calendars and dust off your cowboy boots. The Lamar Community College (LCC) Foundation is gearing up for its highly anticipated Sixth Annual Boots, Bling, and Blessings (BBB) fundraiser. This year’s event is set to take place on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the LCC Equine Complex Indoor Arena, promising an unforgettable night filled with western charm, good company, and a whole lot of heart.

Attendees will be welcomed into a transformed indoor arena of the Equine Complex, where twinkling lights and lively music set the stage for a delightful community affair. Delicious food, refreshing drinks, and captivating entertainment await, ensuring a night to remember.

The center of the evening lies in its array of entertaining games and the Boots, Bling, and Blessings auction. The Foundation is actively seeking financial sponsorships and donations of goods and services for the auction and game prizes. Sponsors, both individuals and businesses, can choose from various levels, each offering unique perks like complimentary event tickets and the opportunity to showcase their banner at the venue.

For those unable to attend, online donations are accepted here. Alternatively, donors can contact the Foundation office for alternative payment options. Individual tickets are available for $60 each or $100 for a pair. You can purchase your event tickets here.

The BBB is an opportunity to enjoy an evening of fun while supporting the LCC Foundation’s 50-year legacy of breaking down barriers to education. Proceeds from the BBB event will directly contribute to Lamar Community College’s mission to enrich lives through learning, ensuring that students have the resources they need to thrive.

“Our community has greatly benefited from Lamar Community College. The lives of many individuals have improved, and LCC alumni have contributed significantly to our local economy. The upcoming Boots, Bling, and Blessings fundraiser is not just an excellent opportunity to support the LCC Foundation, but also a chance to invest in our community’s future. As the Chairman of the LCC Foundation Board, I invite you to support this worthy cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, counts in shaping a brighter tomorrow for our community,” remarked Joe Spitz, Chairman of the LCC Foundation Board and local business owner.

Jaelin Parker, a proud graduate of Lamar Community College in 2023 and a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship through the LCC Foundation, shares, “With the financial help from this scholarship, it was easier to pay for the classes I needed to take and earn an Associate of General Studies degree with an emphasis in Agriculture. Now, I work for LCC as a Communications Specialist and love it.” Jaelin’s success story reflects the transformative impact of the scholarships provided by the LCC Foundation on students’ lives and career paths.
