Take courses or get your degree online at LCC
Online courses offer greater flexibility than on-campus courses. Students can learn when it fits into their schedule and from anywhere they choose.
Through Spring 2022, students can pay the same rate for online courses as they would for in-person. Please note: students are initially billed the full rate up front, but after census date, LCC applies a scholarship for each online credit hour to reduce it down to the on-campus rate. Concurrent enrollment students must still have online classes approved by their school district.
Lamar Community College proudly offers its students direct access to online course offerings, certificates, and associate degree programs through LCC Online courses and an association with the Colorado Community College System (CCCOnline). Additionally, many LCC courses are also taught as “hybrid” with a mix of both classroom instruction and an online component, i.e., threaded discussions, email.

In October 2016, Affordable Colleges Online announced its rankings for the 2016-2017 Best Online Colleges in Colorado. With our low tuition, financial aid options and great services for our students, LCC rose above all other 2-year institutions in the state.
In order for colleges to qualify for this ranking they must be a public, not for profit, institution and offer at least three online associate degree programs with an annual in-state tuition fee less than $5,000. More information…
