Transcripts
An official transcript is a certified record of all postsecondary academic work done at Lamar Community College. It includes classes taken, hours earned, grades received, and credentials conferred.
Many colleges require that official transcripts be sent either directly to them electronically or printed and mailed directly to them in a sealed envelope.

Lamar Community College authorizes Parchment to manage the ordering, processing, and secure delivery of your official LCC transcripts.
To get started, visit parchment.com.
To create a account, provide your:
- Enrollment status (eg, full-time, withdrawn, graduate, etc.)
- Name, birth date, and last four digits of your Social Security Number
- Student ID number (if known)
- Email address
- Current mailing address
- Phone number
You will receive a confirmation email from Parchment when you’ve created your account.

The transcript cost is based on the method of delivery and destination. During the ordering process you will be able to see the exact charge prior to entering your credit card information. The fees are:

Paper Transcripts requested by a third-party (learning institutions, businesses, law firms, etc.) must be accompanied by a current Release of Information form completed by the student. Third-party requests are only delivered via standard USPS. | $15.00 |
Payment:
- Transcripts must be paid by credit card at the time of the order
- Parchment accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover
- Your card will be charged when the transcript order has been sent
Transcript requests are filled during regular business hours.
Requests made during holidays and weekends will be fulfilled during the next business day.
If you do not have a credit card, you may order a transcript in-person through the Student Services Office during normal business hours.

Financial Obligation Hold Release:
Lamar Community College does not have the authority to withhold transcripts or diplomas due to an unpaid financial obligation with the college. If you find you have a financial obligation hold on your account keeping you from accessing your transcripts or diploma please call (719) 336-1521 to get the hold released. If you find that you cannot get the hold released, you may file a complaint by going to Student Grievances in the Student Handbook found in our catalog and follow the steps listed for you.
Enrollment & Degree Verification
Effective November 1, 2014, Lamar Community College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent to provide direct enrollment and degree verification. The National Student Clearinghouse can be contacted either by visiting degreeverify.org or mail at 2300 Dulles Station Boulevard, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20171.
