“I choose LCC because of their flexible schedule. Being a mother of two small children, I was still able to have a flexible schedule without interfering with their schedules. My favorite part of my education would be how caring the instructors are. They teach with your best interest in mind. They genuinely care for your success.”

Kara Phares Lamar, CO

I decided to go back to school to further my career and be an example for my children. I chose LCC because it was local, smaller class sizes which allows for more one on one, the resources available to help you to be successful and also knowing others who went through the program recommending it. LCC was a perfect fit for me. Obtaining my nursing degree through LCC has impacted my financial and professional future greatly, but most importantly on a personal level it showed my children hard work and dedication. It’s never too late to obtain your dreams.

Angela Sneller - Lamar, CO

Choosing LCC has been the best decision I’ve ever taken. Unlike in a university, here you are a person with a name instead of being a number in the classroom. And that’s what I love about LCC. I’ve received numerous opportunities, all in just one semester. This college has changed my life. I hope you decide to ride with us!

“My advice would be to enjoy your time here. It is very laid back and there are many people here to help you. If you do your best and show respect, everything will fall into place.”

Jackson Mitchell Las Animas, CO

“LCC is a great school for both academics and athletics. The teachers are quick to help you in the classroom, and the student life is very active.”

Katelyn Reagin Frederick, CO

“At LCC you won’t find a school that is as close knit and hands on! You make a lot of amazing friends and unforgettable memories; the experiences you take away from LCC are unbeatable.”

Allison Schwartz Colorado Springs, CO

“Although it is a small town, it feels like home. You will find some of your best friends and mentors here. Since it is a smaller school you get more one-on-one time with your teachers, which is very helpful.”
