Meet the Student Ambassadors

Yasmine Ingo 🏐🐾

I am a student ambassador at Lamar Community College as well as a member of the volleyball team. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree with an Applied Veterinary Certificate. I enjoy helping others and am very familiar with Lamar’s online systems and student websites. If you need help navigating online tools, understanding classes, or figuring out where to find resources, I am always happy to assist and support students.

Adolfo Garcia 💻📚

I am a student ambassador at Lamar Community College. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice. As an online student, I have developed strong skills in managing virtual coursework and staying organized in a digital learning environment. If you have questions about managing online classes, staying on track with assignments, or navigating virtual learning tools, I am happy to help and support you.

Maleah Charlie 🏀🎓

I am a student ambassador at Lamar Community College as well as a member of the basketball team. I am currently majoring in both Criminal Justice and Psychology for my associates degree. I am also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa group here on campus. I like to help others and can help students navigate online tools, find resources, and help them understand their classes. I can also help students navigate the student website and online class systems. I am always open to helping other students.

I am a student ambassador at Lamar Community College and also a part of the volleyball team. I love helping others and enjoy watching others succeed. If you ever need help with time management, school work, or planning, I am always happy to help. I am pursuing my associates in health and wellness sciences and plan to become a Physical Therapist.

As a current college student-athlete, I can support new and prospective students by helping them adjust to college and sport life, sharing practical advice on balancing academics and training, and offering honest guidance on challenges such as workload, pressure and confidence. I aim to be an approachable point of contact during their transition into college.
