Join Lamar Community College for Lopes Day, a day of fun and celebrating all things LCC, on April 14, 2022
We invite the public to join in on the day’s festivities. See below for a full schedule of events:
11:00am MAP to Success Center Ribbon Cutting, at the Betz Technology Center
11:30am Student Union Ribbon Cutting, at the Betz Technology Center
12:00pm Elevator Project Ribbon Cutting, at Bowman East & Bowman West
12:30pm CTE (Career & Technical Education) Building Ribbon Cutting
1:00pm Outdoor Lunch (in case of inclement weather, food will be inside CTE Building)
An Open House and Career Fair will follow for the remainder of the event. The MAP to Success Center will be available to discuss career options and other information regarding careers such as earnings. LCC department leaders will be on hand to share information and answer questions regarding their programs. Student Services will be open to discuss financial aid options, scholarship options, and to help enroll and register if needed.
