Early Childhood Education

Love the idea of working with children? Take the fast track to a meaningful career in the rewarding field of Early Childhood Education!

Get the skills you need, fast

This spring and summer, our Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses will be offered in a “fast track” format; you’ll gain the skills you need to launch a new career in childcare or take the next step in your current work.

How it works

Classes will be held on Fridays and Saturdays to work around most work schedules. You’ll focus on one course at a time, completing each in two weeks and then taking one week off before starting the next in the series.

Classes will be available on campus and through Distance Learning. So, if you have a computer with a speaker and camera, you can access the live courses in real time, from anywhere!

With the first two courses (ECE 101 and ECE 103), you’ll earn a Basic Certificate.  Complete the next eight courses in the series and you’ll have completed all the course requirements necessary to qualify for the State of Colorado’s Director’s License.
