The Lamar Community College Cosmetology Salon invites the community to join them for their Aloha to Summer event on Thursday, June 22. LCC Nail Tech students will be giving discounted manicures and pedicures from 1:00-5:00pm.
The event will also feature some tasty treats including piña colada cupcakes, fresh fruit, and aloha punch.
Cosmetology faculty Kendra King and her students are eager to host the event and have some fun while practicing the skills they have learned this summer.
“The girls have been working on learning new techniques and nail art,” said King. “But they’ve also been really excited to try some new things and create fun events like this to bring even more people into the Salon.”
This is the first of several events the LCC Cosmetology department has planned for the summer.
