The Lamar Community College Cosmetology hosted another great event on Tuesday, October 31, as they invited the community to join in on their Halloween Party.
The students and staff went all-out with their costumes, decorations, and tasty treats that they shared at the event. They also offered discounted services throughout the day.
Kendra King, Cosmetology department head, said she was thrilled with event.
“We had a great turn out!” she said. “It was also fun to see all the students dress up and bring some of their personality to the costumes. It was a good break from our regular all-black uniforms.”
The department is already working on their next big event. They’ll be hosting a Christmas party in December along with a department-wide ugly sweater contest. More information will be provided closer to the event.
