In a History program, you will develop a foundational understanding of historic trends and movements by analyzing the economic, political, and cultural significance of specific events. Through this process, you will grow research, writing, and critical thinking skills that can be applied to a wide variety of fields, including government service, law, education, and business. A History degree can lead to a career as an academic researcher, archivist, museum curator, or history teacher. In an associate program in History, you will learn about different eras of world history, including the rise of western civilization, and how to construct historical arguments and narratives. This degree is transferable to universities offering a bachelor’s degree in History.
