This certificate provides entry-level as well as upgrading skills courses for a solid foundation of the industry’s current practices to include the practitioner’s licensing requirements, types and content of construction documents, liability and management-labor functions, design techniques, roles and responsibilities of professionals in the industry. The individual enrolling in this certificate will have an option of taking a course in shielded metal arc (welding) or solar, as it relates to installation, renovation, or new building construction.
